- A positive FIT or occult blood test.
- A personal history of bowel polyps or bowel cancer.
- A family history of bowel cancer, especially in a first-degree relative.
- Rectal bleeding, change in bowel habit or unexplained iron deficiency anaemia.
- Need for surveillance after previous polyp removal.
